Alex is an old‑school, original geek, turned security‑minded IT Systems Engineer and entreprenure. His fingers first touched a keyboard at the age of four, when his wish for a computer was granted by the Make‑A‑Wish Foundation. That first machine became the catalyst for years spent building, rebuilding, and experimenting with computers and IT networks using whatever parts and components he could get his hands on.
His professional career took shape through IT internships with the EAA and the West De Pere School District during middle and high school, before landing his first MSP role at just 18 years old. Having worked in Managed Services since the earliest days of the service model, Alex has seen firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and, most importantly, what clients actually want from their IT partners.
In 2020, Alex and his business partners founded ITsUpTime without the involvement of banks or outside investors, ensuring that no external pressures could compromise the integrity, quality, or values of their service delivery. Today, Alex takes pride not only in his technical expertise and dedication to security‑focused engineering, but in the long‑standing, trust‑based relationships he has built with his clients along the way.
